We are currently having SDPROC now. It's so boring! Or rather I am not doing anything. LOL!
JJ suggests that we can have some events during the term test, any suggestions??

Anyway there will be Captains' Ball during Term 2, so do take part again alrights! =DD

Happy 19th Birthday to Zhen Lin!!

Okies, so we shall have a short update! 2 days ago, I went to the class meeting. TP is looking for 400 volunteers for 2010 Singapore Youth Olympic Games. Engineering Studies Club has set up a booth outside Engineering Hall 2 for people to register. I'm not sure how long they are placing the booth there. This is the first time Singapore is hosting the Youth Olympic Games, it will be held from 14 - 26 Aug' 10.

Week 5 - Submission of Wireless Assignment
Week 6 - Presentation for APEL 2 Assignment
Week 7 - Term Test Week
Week 10 - Submission of APEL 2 Assignment's Report.


I guess that's all for the time being.

TP lays claim to new Guinness World Record

The evening of April 24 saw 1,378 students, staff and guests of Temasek Polytechnic laying claim to a new Guinness World Record for the Largest Human Wheelbarrow Race. This feat surpassed the record set in September 2008 by a school in Melbourne with 1,044 participants.

The participants at the Human Wheelbarrow Challenge @ TP also successfully set four Singapore Book of Records for the Fastest Human Wheelbarrow Race, the Human Wheelbarrow Endurance Challenge, the Fastest Human Wheelbarrow Relay Race and the Longest Human Wheelbarrow Challenge - 74 people in all.

This event marked the end of freshmen orientation and the beginning of the new academic year. Other than welcoming the freshmen into the TP family, the event also aimed to further strengthen the TP camaraderie.
